Maha Kumbh begins today
KUMBHANAGAR (ALLAHABAD), JAN. 8. Millions of devotees from across
the country and other parts of the world converged on Monday at
the confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the mythical
Saraswati here for the millennium's first Maha Kumbh.Prayer-
chanting devotees made offerings to prepare for the first holy
bath on Tuesday.
