Two SP MLAs expelled

LUCKNOW, DEC. 30. The Samajwadi Party today expelled two MLAs and a senior functionary for six years for indulging in ``anti-party activities''.

Mr. Ram Saran Das, the party's State unit president, told reporters here that Ms. Kamala Rawat (MLA from Sidhaur), Mr. Sarwar Ali (MLA from Ramnagar) and Mr. Babar Khan, a senior party leader from Moradabad have been expelled on the directions of the party chief, Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav. The three were working against the interests of the party for some time, Mr. Das added.
