Two SP MLAs expelled
LUCKNOW, DEC. 30. The Samajwadi Party today expelled two MLAs and
a senior functionary for six years for indulging in ``anti-party
activities''.
Mr. Ram Saran Das, the party's State unit president, told
reporters here that Ms. Kamala Rawat (MLA from Sidhaur), Mr.
Sarwar Ali (MLA from Ramnagar) and Mr. Babar Khan, a senior party
leader from Moradabad have been expelled on the directions of the
party chief, Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav. The three were working
against the interests of the party for some time, Mr. Das added.
