CB-CID probe ordered

CHENNAI, DEC. 10. The State Government today ordered a CB-CID probe into the recent murder of two women activists who took on the illicit distillers in Beemanthoppu village in Tiruvallur district.

The families of the victims, Indrani and Rathnammal who were murdered on December 6, would be given financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each, an official press release here said.
