Andhra rides on Pathak's century

CHENNAI, DEC. 9. Andhra rode on Amit Pathak's fine hundred (114, 118b, thirteen 4s) to defeat Goa by 48 runs in a Subbiah Pillai Trophy one-day match at the CPT-IP ground here on Saturday.

Goa was bowled out for 183 with nine balls remaining in reply to Andhra's 231 for four in a match reduced to 45 overs a side. Rohit Rane top-scored for the loser with 52 (65b, four 4s). Andhra now has two points from four matches, and Goa is yet to open its account.
