New party formed

IMPHAL, DEC. 4. Two former Manipur Ministers, Mr. Haokholet Kipgen and Mr. L. Jayentakumar, today said they had formed a party, Progressive Federal Party, and urged the Speaker, Mr. S. Dhananjoy Singh, to recognise it. The former Ministers, who joined the Opposition camp on Sunday, said they had resigned from the United Legislature Front Ministry headed by the Chief Minister, Mr. Nipamacha Singh. They alleged that the front government had not paid any attention to developmemt works.
