Doctor gets bail in paper leak case
MUMBAI, DEC. 1. A medical practitioner was yesterday enlarged on
bail by a special court here in a case involving leakage of
question papers of third year M.B.B.S. examination even as the
police claimed to have obtained vital clues to establish the last
link in the conspiracy.
Dr. Joy Ohari, the third doctor to secure bail in this case, was
released against the sum of Rs. one lakh by the designated judge,
Mr. S. S. Mehra. He was directed to report daily at the Crime
Branch office for further investigations.
The Public Prosecutor, Mr. Manohar Kandhalkar, opposed Dr.
Ohari's bail.Dr. Ohari's release at this stage would hamper
probe, he said.
