Foreign equity holdings in print media ruled out The Government has categorically decided against allowing foreign equity holdings in the print media industry, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ms. Sushma Swaraj, said today even as she indicated that the matter had been discussed at the level of the Prime Minister and the conclusion reached was that there was ``no need'' to meddle with the print media policy as it stands today.
