Future belongs to us:Jayalalitha
By Our Special Correspondent
CHENNAI, OCT. 16. The AIADMK general secretary, Ms. Jayalalitha,
today claimed that there was a ``wave of resentment'' against the
DMK Government for dragging her to the courts.
In an address to her partymen, she said, the DMK Government had
to take to legal forums as the Chief Minister, Mr. M.
Karunanidhi, was unable to face her in the ``people's court.''
``The future belongs to us,'' she said and asked her partymen to
continue to work for the welfare of the people.
Just as Mr. Karunanidhi had approached the Supreme Court against
her being discharged in the TANSI land deal case, she too had the
right to appeal against the judgment of the Special Court.
Although the Governments at the Centre and in the State were
against her, she said she was confident of proving her innocence
in the court.
