Pinto's trial clubbed with others in urea scam

NEW DELHI, OCT. 2. The special court, trying the Rs. 133 crore urea scam case, has ordered clubbing of the trial of the Brazalian businessman, A. E. Pinto, with the other eight accused.

Allowing the CBI plea for clubbing Pinto's trial with the main case, the Special Judge, Mr. V. B. Gupta, said the application was ``legally maintainable and justified since joint trial would be in the interest of all the parties concerned.''
