Hospital registration, billing automated

BANGALORE, SEPT. 28. CIFTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, has
released CIFThealth Version 2.0, for Data Warehousing and Data
Mining, for the Rajmahal Vilas Hospital in Sanjaynagar. Dr.
R.Chandrasekhar, Managing Director of the hospital, said "We are
happy with the automation of the registration and billing work...
we will be able to analyse medical data of patients and their
treatment as the databses grow."
CIFTech Solutions' domain expertise is in the financial, credit,
retail, pharma and health care sectors. The company is focussed

Textronix products at Olympics
Tektronix, a market leader in video test and measurement
technology, has provided two major suppliers of the Sydney
Olympics with a full range of video test equipment that will be
used to ensure signal integrity and sound and picture clarity.
NBC and Panasonic have received almost $ 2 million worth video
test instruments from Tektronix to enable quality coverage of the
Olympic Games.
Textronix India is headquartered in Bangalore. The parent company
provides the video industry's broadest range of test, measurement
and monitoring products, both analog and digital. The WFM family
is considered to be the industry standard for digital waveform
monitors. WFM monitors are self-contained waveform and vector
monitors for the 270 MB operating environment.
Prize scheme from neoIT

Stake in Powersoft
Powersoft Global Solutions, a Bangalore-based 100 per cent EOU
has reported that Isola Global Enterprises Inc. of the U.S. will
acquire a 51 per cent stake in the equity of the former through
an equity swap, enabling the two companies to function together.
Powersoft, operating from the STPI here, has executed several e-
commerce projects for U.S. corporates. Isola is a software
outsourcing, development and consulting firm, promoted by India-
born entrepreneur, Mr. Seshadri Ayala. This acquisition will
provide Isola the necessary human resources and infrastructure to
service high-profile clientele in the U.S.
Metal Comps gets ISO 9002
Metal Comps India Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, has been certified ISO
9002 for quality systems in marketing and manufacture of pressed
components. Established in 1987, the company now has 200
personnel and has recorded a turnover of Rs. 4 crore in 1999-
2000. Among its clients are BPL, ABB, IFB Industries and Haritha
Rubber.
