K. Sudhakaran, on Tuesday afternoon.

Police identified the injured persons as Sales Tax Inspector, Mr. Mohanan, and police constable, Mr. Sanakan. They have been admitted to the Nedumangadu Taluk hospital. The SI (Nedumangadu), Mr. L. Thulasidharan, has arrested the owner of Dhanush Auto Consultancy, Mr. Mohanan, in this connection.

According to the police, the sales tax team had stumbled upon nine autorickshaws without proper records following an inspection of the agency's office.
