Tourists killed in Kullu
SHIMLA, AUG. 26. A Spanish national and her son were clubbed to
death and her British friend was seriously injured by miscreants
in Manikarn in Kullu district, where the family was on a trekking
expedition yesterday, police said today.
The Director General of Police, Mr. A. K. Puri, said the
miscreants attacked the family and threw the three into a khud.
They then decamped with Rs 18000 and $100, a sophisticated camera
and the passports of the tourists.
