Nirupama loses
NEW DELHI, AUG. 25. Nirupama Vaidyanathan lost to the top-seeded
Daja Bedanova of the Czech Republic 5-7, 1-6 in the second
qualifying round of the US Open.
In the first qualifying round, Nirupama beat Sybille Bammer of
Austria 7-5, 6-3.
