Many trains diverted, others cancelled partially

HYDERABAD, AUG. 23. Due to breaches between Panyam-Nandyal-
Gazupalli stations on the Dronachalam-Giddalur section of
Guntakal Division of South Central Railway (SCR), the following
trains are either diverted or partially cancelled.
The diverted trains are:
Train No. 8563 Visakhapatnam-Bangalore Prashanti Express which
left Visakhapatnam on Tuesday has been brought back from Nandyal
and it is running on the diverted route i.e..via Guntur-
Miryalguda-Secunderabad-Dronachellam-Guntakal stations.
Train No. 8564 Bangalore-Visakhapatnam Prashanti Express which
left Bangalore on Tuesday has been brought back from Bugganapally
and is running on the diverted route via Guntakal-Dronachalam-
SEcunderabad-Miryalaguda-Guntur stations.
Train Nos. 8563/8564 Visakhapatnam-Banglore-Visakhapatnam
Prashanti Expresses of Wednesday and Thursday would also run on
the diverted route, i.e. Guntur-Miryalaguda-Secunderabad-
Dronachalam-Guntakal stations.
The trains partially cancelled are:
Train No. 7225 Vijayawada-Hubli Amaravathi Expresses which left
Vijayawada on Tuesday has been terminated at Giddalur and is
running back as Train No. 7226 Amaravathi Express from Giddalur
to Vijayawada.
Train No. 7226 Hubli-Vijayawada Amaravathi Express which left
Hubli on Tuesday was terminated at Dronachalam and was running
back as Train No. 7225 Amaravathi Express from Dronachalam to
Hubli.
Train No. 7225 Vijayawada-Hubli Amaravathi Express scheduled to
leave Vijayawada on Wednesday and Thursday would run upto
Giddalur only and would run as Train No.7226 Amaravathi Express
from Giddalur to Vijayawada.
Train No. 7228 Vasco-da-gama-Vijayawada Amaravathi Express which
left Vasco on Wednesday would be terminated at Dronachalam and
would run back as Train No. 7225 Amaravathi Express from
Dronachalam to Hubli.
Train No. 7226 Hubli-Vijayawada Amaravathi Express which was
scheduled to leave Hubli on Thursday would be terminated at
Dronachalam and would run back as Train No. 7227 Amaravathi
Express from Dronachalam to Vasco-da-gama.
All the passenger trains running from Guntur towards Dronachalam
would be terminated at Giddalur and would return as pairing
trains, according to a release issued here by the SCR. Similarly,
all the passenger trains running from Guntakal towards Guntur
side would be terminated at Dronachalam and would run as pairing
trains.
The SCR also informed that no train services would be available
on the Giddalur-Dronachalam-Giddalur section on Wednesday and
Thursday.
