Farooq rules out talks with Pak.
WASHINGTON, AUG.20 The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Dr.
Farooq Abdullah has asked Hizbul Mujahideen to give up the idea
of bringing Pakistan into talks with India.
Hizbul Mujahideen ``must give up the idea of tripartite talks or
India will never agree,'' Dr. Abdullah told the Washington Post
in an interview.
Criticising the militant outfit for ending its ceasefire in the
State, he said the ceasefire was `a good idea' but that ended too
soon to know ``what Hizb really had in their bag. It all looked
rather childish to me,'' he added.
