Two flyovers to be inaugurated today

CHENNAI, AUG. 11. Driving is likely to be smoother on
Radhakrishnan Salai and TTK Salai from Saturday evening, when the
mini-flyovers near Music Academy junction and Eldams Road
junction are thrown open.
While two-way traffic will be allowed on the Music Academy
flyover, vehicles using TTK Salai from the Music Academy side can
use the TTK Salai flyover, to proceed towards C.P.Ramaswamy Road.
At the Alwarpet junction, vehicles proceeding towards Park
Sheraton from Music Academy should use the service road. Vehicles
going towards Music Academy from C.P.Ramaswamy Road, will also
take the service road. Vehicles coming through TTK Salai from
Hotel Park Sheraton and going towards Music Academy and Oliver
Road should use the service road. Vehicles coming from Eldams
Road will take the service road to proceed towards Music Academy
and Oliver Road. Murrays Gate Road will be one way with entry
from Alwarpet junction only. C.V. Raman Road will be one way with
entry from C.P. Ramaswamy Road.
At the Music Academy flyover, vehicles coming from Gandhi Statue
or Gemini circle and proceeding towards Alwarpet and Royapettah
can use the service road.
