India made no request: Pak
ISLAMABAD, JULY 10. Pakistan today dismissed reports that India
had requested it to hand over the men who hijacked Indian
Airlines' Kathmandu-New Delhi flight IC-814 last December.
``How can the Indians make such a request. How should the Indians
presume that the hijackers are in Pakistan,'' a foreign office
spokesman said in response to queries.
``We are against terrorism and are, in fact, the victims of
terrorism,'' he said. The spokesman said Pakistan had received no
request from India for the extradition of any hijacker.
