Poor response to Jammu bandh

SRINAGAR, JUNE 29. The call for a general strike given by the
Jammu Bar Association failed to evoke any response in Jammu areas
today, though there was tension in the morning hours. However,
Udhampur, Chenani and Ramnagar areas observed a bandh called by
the local BJP units.
Reports reaching here said the Bar Association's call did not
have any impact in Jammu city
.PTI reports:
The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, and the National Conference
president, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, has convened a general body
meeting of his party here tomorrow.
