Chautala to host dinner to Governor

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 17. The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Om Prakash Chautala, will host a dinner in honour of the outgoing Governor, Mr. Mahabir Prasad, at his residence here on Sunday.

The Chief Minister has invited the Punjab Governor, the Speakers of the Punjab and Haryana Assemblies, the Chief Ministers of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, Chief Justice and Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Leaders of Opposition in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana, members of Parliament, ministers and MLAs of both Punjab and Haryana and member of Parliament from Chandigarh.

Meanwhile, it has been officially announced here that Mr. Babu Parmanand will be sworn in the new Governor of Haryana by the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Mr.Justice A.B. Saharya, on June 20 at 1 p.m. at the Haryana Raj Bhavan here.
