Obasanjo, telephoned the Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, and conveyed his commitment to get the 21 Indian soldiers, who have been taken hostage in Sierra Leone, released. Meanwhile in Sierra Leone, the former Liberian Foreign Minister. Ms. D. Muslenge Cooper, met the Joint Secretary in the United Nations division, Mr. Dinkar Srivastava, who has been camping in that country.
