No party will oppose States Bill: Paswan

JAMSHEDPUR, JUNE 2 . The Telecommunications Minister, Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan, today said formation of ``Jharkhand'' state was inevitable and would be done ``without any fuss or opposition''.

Talking to newspersons here today on way to Maithan and Kumardubi for inaugurating new telephone exchanges, Mr. Paswan said ``Jharkhand state will be formed without any fuss or opposition. No party will object to the state reorganisation bill in the Lok Sabha,`` he said.

Speaking on the development of Bihar, he said caste, creed and religion should be ignored while working for the uplift of the State. ``Technical advancement is necessary for joining the mainstream of development,'' he said.

The Union Minister said south Bihar had recorded the lowest number of telephone connections in the country.

Mr. Paswan had come here from Ranchi today to inaugurate the Tatanagar telephone exchange here.
