Sunday Times report distorted: Dalmiya

LONDON, MAY 30. International Cricket Council chief Jagmohan Dalmiya today termed as distorted a Sunday Times report claiming that the telecast rights for the next two World Cups and other events had been put on hold.

The ICC consultative group was continuing its work on the rights and a tele-conference of the group was scheduled for Wednesday, Dalmiya said in a statement here.

He said meetings with bidders, planned for this week in Paris, were cancelled last week because of timing considerations.
