PM 'back to work'
By Our Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI, APRIL 20. The Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari
Vajpayee, is reasonably well and attended to his office work
today.
On Wednesday, Mr. Vajpayee could not take part in the debate in
the Lok Sabha as he was feeling unwell; and, predictably, the
officials were keen on downplaying his illness. Today, the same
officials were keen on playing up ``the PM is back to work''
theme.
Mr. Vajpayeetoday attended a meeting in the Ministry of Defence,
received foreign visitors and his Cabinet colleagues, and cleared
a small portion of the never diminishing pile of files; and, he
is reported to be looking forward to presiding over the Cabinet
meeting on Saturday.
