By Our Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI, APRIL 10. A review of the BJP performance in the
recent Assembly elections, the impact of the visit of the U.S.
President, Mr. Bill Clinton to India and finalisation of the
schedule for election of the party president are among various
items on the agenda of the two-day national executive beginning
on April 15.
The vice-president, Mr. Jana Krishnamurthy, told correspondents
here that an analysis of the recent Rajya Sabha elections and the
political developments since the national executive meet in
Chennai on December 27 last would also be taken up.
The meeting is expected to adopt three resolutions on the
political and economic situations and the visit of Mr. Bill
Clinton. The party would discuss the Union and Railway budget as
also the recent hike in the prices of diesel and petrol and the
proposal to reduce subsidy on foodgrains under the PDS.
