Volcano erupts again
DATE (JAPAN), APRIL 1. Superheated steam today cracked open a new
crater on Japan's Mount Usu volcano in a third eruption that
stoked fears of a major explosion ahead. (AP picture shows a
Japanese boy, evacuated after the Usu volcano on Japan's
northernmost island of Hokkaido erupted on Friday, sleeping at a
shelter in Date city, 770 km north of Tokyo. The volcano erupted
for the third time on Saturday.)
